Entry requirements
UTP publishes one foundation programme with streams aligned to later degree pathways. Local applicants: Engineering & Science pathways require Grade C in Bahasa Melayu, English, Mathematics, Additional Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry at SPM; or equivalent O-Level/IGCSE pattern. Information Systems / Information Technology require Grade C in Bahasa Melayu, English, Mathematics and two non-language subjects at SPM; or equivalent O-Level/IGCSE pattern. Computer Science requires Grade C in Bahasa Melayu, English, Mathematics, Additional Mathematics and another subject at SPM; or equivalent O-Level/IGCSE pattern. Business Management requires Grade C in Bahasa Melayu, English, Mathematics and two other subjects at SPM; or equivalent O-Level/IGCSE pattern.
English requirements
Local: minimum Grade C (Credit) in Bahasa Inggeris at SPM is stated on the local foundation entry page. International: not clearly separated on the reviewed foundation international entry page; UTP directs international applicants to its country-specific qualification list.
