Bachelor's degree (MQF Level 6) in Computing or related field with minimum CGPA 3.00; or a Computing / related Bachelor's degree with CGPA 2.00 to below 3.00 subject to rigorous internal assessment; or a non-computing Bachelor's degree with CGPA 2.50 subject to rigorous internal assessment and prerequisite courses / equivalent relevant working experience; or other equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian Government.

Completed prior degree in English medium, or IELTS 6.0; TOEFL 550; TOEFL Essentials 8.5; TOEFL iBT 60; PTE 59; MUET Band 4; or Cambridge Linguaskill 169. Students who do not meet the requirement may be required to take EPP.

RU notes that rigorous internal assessment may include interviews, portfolios, and written tests. Applicants who fail the rigorous assessment may be required to complete preparatory courses. RU also recognises relevant cumulative working experience as stated on the official page.
