General entry requirements by level
A quick view of the usual route requirements.
Foundation
1 year- Minimum 5 credits in SPM (including BM & Sejarah for some)
- Credits in relevant subjects for your chosen field
- Some programmes accept 3 credits with conditional entry
Diploma
2–2.5 years- Minimum 3 credits in SPM
- Credit in BM is typically required
- Certain fields require specific subject credits (e.g. Math for engineering)
Bachelor's Degree
3–4 years- STPM / A-Level / Foundation / Diploma completion
- Minimum CGPA requirements vary by programme
- Direct SPM entry not available — pathway qualification needed
